Glendale police arrest man involved in shooting
by Associated Press (February 22nd, 2012 @ 10:33am)
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Glendale police say a man shot by a Phoenix police officer has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault on police officers.
Twenty-six-year-old Jeff Lusk was taken to jail Tuesday after he was released from a local hospital.
Lusk was shot by a Phoenix officer Feb. 12 in the backyard of a Glendale residence after police say he threatened an officer with a jagged piece of glass. Police said Lusk was followed there because he was under investigation in an arson case.
There were no police officers injured.
