PHOENIX - A Chandler man is in custody for allegedly throwing spaghetti at his wife because he didn't like the dinner she cooked.
Chandler police say 37-year-old Isidro Curiel also allegedly broke his wife's cell phone during an argument in their apartment Monday afternoon.
Curiel was booked on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal damage and interfering with judicial proceedings by violating an order of protection.
The Arizona Republic says a judge gave Curiel's wife an order of protection last May.
Police say Curiel left the apartment and went to his parent's house after the incident.
Officers went to the home and questioned Curiel. Police say he told them he was mad because the food tasted bad and the phone he broke was his own.
It's unclear whether Curiel has a lawyer.
