TUCSON, Ariz. - Authorities say a South Tucson police officer has been cited for DUI after hitting a parked car while on duty.
Tucson police was asked to assist in the investigation of Officer Alexander Yegorov about 3 a.m. Sunday.
The Arizona Daily Star says the officer who responded to the parking lot crash saw signs of intoxication and called police officials.
Authorities say Yegorov was cited and released.
South Tucson police are conducting an administrative review of Yegorov and he has been placed on paid administrative leave.
It was unclear Tuesday whether Yegorov has legal representation yet.
