A 2-month-old Valley girl will have quite a story to tell her own children many years from now.

President Barack Obama held and kissed Emmy Bernstein just moments after stepping off of Air Force One at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport on Wednesday.

Emmy's mom, Nikki Bernstein, said she was overwhelmed.

"It was very overwhelming and exciting," said Bernstein, Emmy crying in the background. "A person wouldn't think it would be that exciting to be close to a president, but it was exciting."

Bernstein said she didn't even expect Obama to come over to the crowd, much less personally greet little Emmy.

During his brief meet-and-greet at the airport, Obama signed a few autographs and was even given a Phoenix Suns jersey to take back to Washington.
